Body Image

Eating disorders can wreak havoc emotionally and physically on a person of any age or gender. As a society we are inundated with images of “the perfect” body through social media, television ads and magazines. Children receive these unhealthy messages regarding what someone’s body should look like. Poor body image can lead to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and developing an eating disorder.
